CCS is led by a group of professionals that has proven its leadership capabilities both internally and at other successful companies.  Combining over 125 years of industry experience and roughly 75 years cumulative tenure at CCS, the management team has forged a model for steady growth even in the wake of tough economic conditions.

Marty Muscatello | President and CEO
With 20 years of management experience, Marty joined CCS-Inc. in 2003 as President. He has served as President and CEO since May 2005. With a BS in Industrial Engineering as well as an MBA from Virginia Tech, Marty has spent much of his career focused on operational excellence and lean manufacturing. During his time at CCS, both revenue and workforce numbers have more than doubled. He also currently presides as President of the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council.

Tim Lawson | CFO
Tim began working at CCS in 1992 and held various leadership roles before accepting his current position as Chief Financial Officer, among them: Vice President/Controller, Purchasing and Quality Manager, and Operations Manager. Named CFO of the Year by Virginia Business Magazine in 2006, Tim continues to focus on the company’s growth and profitability. He holds a BS in Marketing Management and an MBA from Virginia Tech.

Gary Overstreet | VP, Sales and Marketing
Gary joined CCS in 2005, bringing with him a successful track record of sales, sales management, and marketing that includes 18 years at AT&T/Lucent Technologies. Leading the sales force for CCS and both wholly-owned subsidiaries, Gary coaches his team in effective account management and new business development. He holds a BA from Davidson College and an MBA from Rutgers University.

Amy Ankrum | Director of Qualtrax
Making her start in the Marketing department in 1998 after receiving a BS in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech, Amy was promoted to Marketing Manager and later to Director of Marketing. In addition to leading marketing strategies for CCS and its subsidiaries for ten years, Amy has played key roles in internal projects to improve quality and operational excellence. She assumed P&L responsibility as Director of Qualtrax in 2011.

Michael Trautman | Director of FoxGuard Solutions | Director of CCS Engineering
Michael began his career with CCS in 1999 as a member of the research and design engineering team. He was later promoted to Program Manager, responsible for business and technical direction of the company’s major accounts. From there he transitioned to leadership roles as Engineering Manager and eventually Director. Most recently, Michael was asked to take on a dual role serving as Director of the FoxGuard Solutions business unit.

Mandy Vaudrey | Director of Operations
Mandy has been instrumental in managing the operations and fulfillment side of the CCS business through periods of growth and transition. Holding a BA in Business Administration from Converse College, she began as a Buyer in 1997. Mandy managed the Purchasing department and the collective Logistics group before taking on her current role as Director of Operations.

Krista Jones, PHR | Human Resources Manager
A year before becoming Human Resources Manager in 2002, Krista joined the CCS team as a Staff Accountant, drawing on several years experience in the financial sector. She received her PHR credentials in 2003 and has managed employee growth and development through some of the company’s most fast-paced and prosperous years. Krista also serves as Treasurer of the New River Valley SHRM chapter, utilizing her BS in Accounting from UNC Charlotte.

 

CCS has also assembled a Board of Advisors which provides valuable input and outside perspective to the Management Team.
