History
Established in 1981, CCS-Inc. was one of the first southwest Virginia computer businesses to open its doors when personal computers hit the market. Founded by Ted and Priscilla Fleshman on the idea that customers need the ability to purchase more than just a computer "box," CCS offered hardware and software in addition to support, service, training, and custom programming.

CCS also markets Qualtrax, a compliance software product developed in 1993. Qualtrax, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary that serves many regulated industries including food and beverage, forensic laboratories, and manufacturing. Qualtrax provides document management and process automation that increase productivity and simplify audits.
In 2005, CCS purchased Chattanooga-based, Envirosealed, Inc., a manufacturer of computer and printer enclosures for harsh environments. This acquisition enhanced the CCS product line by allowing it to provide cost-effective, fully-integrated industrial workstations. In 2007, CCS purchased a second facility in Christiansburg, VA and moved Envirosealed operations there. The CCS West facility now houses the shipping, warehousing, and production departments for computer and enclosure products.
In response to customer requirements, CCS created a second subsidiary in 2009. FoxGuard Solutions, Inc. serves the cyber security needs of critical infrastructure, helping facilities in industries such as power and chemical protect their industrial control systems. FoxGuard provides products and services that ensure PC-based HMIs are current on patches and updates and secured against external threats.
In its thirty year history, CCS has grown from two employees in a single room to more than 100 employees in two buildings totaling over 37,000 square feet. It is poised to continue this growth in the years to come.
