CHRISTIANSBURG, VA, May 17, 2005 – Comprehensive
Computer Solutions, Inc. (CCS-Inc.) announced changes to its executive
management team today in a private ceremony held at CCS corporate
headquarters here in Christiansburg.
Current president, Martin (Marty) Muscatello, will take over duties as
Chief Executive Officer while also maintaining his role as President.
Mr. Muscatello joined CCS in November of 2003 and has served as the
company’s president since that time. Before joining CCS, Mr. Muscatello
held numerous executive positions at companies such as Rohm and Haas,
Haleos, Inc., and Litton Poly-Scientific. Mr. Muscatello holds a B.S.
in Industrial Engineering and an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech.
To complement this transition, Tim Lawson will move from his current
role as Vice President & Controller to Chief Financial Officer. Mr.
Lawson has been with CCS since 1992, excelling in a number of roles
within the organization. Mr. Lawson holds a B.S. in Marketing
Management and an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech.
Also under the new executive structure, Matthew Magallanes has
been named Vice President of Sales. Mr. Magallanes joined CCS in 2003
as the Director of Business Development and most recently served as
Director of Sales. Mr. Magallanes brings over 25 years of industry
experience to CCS, including stints as VP of Sales for Modular
Industrial Computers and President at both Industrial Data Systems and
Frontline Technology.
The moves come on the heels of 3 quarters of solid growth for
the industrial computer and software solutions provider. CCS has added
to its product lines over the past year. Most notably, by purchasing
Chattanooga-based Envirosealed in February of this year, CCS added
computer and printer enclosures to its offering while also
strengthening the TECStationTM line of integrated industrial
workstations. The industrial division also expanded its popular
Globestar® marine product line to include displays and accessories that
conform to IEC-60945 requirements.
On the software front, CCS launched QualTrax RxTM, a version
of its popular QualTrax paperless quality system designed specifically
for customers in FDA-regulated markets. CCS has also partnered with
several industry leaders to provide companies in the food processing
industry with The Paperless Enterprise, which combines document
management, HACCP data collection, and statistical process control in a
paperless environment.
