Magallanes has over 20 years of sales and executive experience in the information technology, software and industrial computer markets. He served as Vice President of Business Development for Modular Industrial Computers Inc. from 2001 to 2003, focusing on strategic business alignment. A principal and co-founder of Modular, Magallanes acted as Vice President of Sales from 1992 to 2001.

Some of his past accomplishments include the successful founding of Computer Innovations, Inc., developing job-cost software and estimating solutions for the construction industry, selling that company in 1987. He later assumed the position of National Sales Manager for Tiger Data Systems, a national rugged-mobile computing and route management software developer, catering to large truck-operated franchise operations and delivery companies. Magallanes served as President of Industrial Data Systems from 1989 to 1992. The company focused on providing custom industrial computer systems to the oil & gas, food processing and pharmaceutical industries.

Magallanes currently serves on the Board of Directors for Maven, Inc. and is an active board member of the YMCA.
