Business Development Associate
Are you an ambitious, goal-oriented sales person looking for a challenge? Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making outbound cold calls, identifying, qualifying and validating company decision makers, developing additional business with current customers, scheduling appointments for sales visits, and potentially attending and working trade shows. This position requires a great deal of discipline in order to get the job done and be successful. Ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 4 years inside sales, business development, or telemarketing experience. Bachelor’s degree and sales experience in a technology related industry are strongly preferred.
Computer Design Engineer
CCS-Inc. is looking for a Computer Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a computer expert with 3+ years of hands-on computer hardware and software experience. The candidate will work with contacts to qualify technical requirements and design computing solutions for use in various environments. Good mechanical aptitude and/or experience working in an ISO compliant manufacturing environment are a plus. Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree with a computer hardware focus preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems required. In depth knowledge of computer networking preferred. IT certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, MCP, MCSE preferred.
Entry Level Helpdesk Technician
Position is responsible for providing first line helpdesk support to internal users. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with hardware and software problems; installing software, hardware, and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, network interface cards and disk drives; and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of day-to-day operating environment, available tools, and client applications. Ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company personnel via phone, email, Helpdesk tickets, desk-side visits, or remote control tools. Position requires: high school diploma or equivalent, related degree where appropriate, and two plus years related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience); knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office. Preference will be given to A+, MCSE and other certifications where appropriate.
Network Security Engineer
CCS-Inc. is looking for a Network Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a network security expert with 5+ years of industry experience. The candidate will work internally and with clients in the industrial controls market to meet NERC compliance requirements and support other network and security related product offerings. Bachelor’s degree in a computer related or engineering discipline or equivalent experience in the network security field is required. In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems is required; knowledge of Linux is a plus. Programming and scripting knowledge is desired. In depth knowledge of computer hardware is highly desired. Possessing one or more of the following professional certifications is highly desired: CISSP, GIAC, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP. Domestic and global travel may be required. Programming Intern
Full-time Summer internship (potentially through Fall semester or longer) available for Software Developer opening. Qualified candidates must be fluent in C#, SQL 2000/2005 programming, .NET Framework, ASP.NET web services, ASP and HTML. Experience with Progress databases, SQL Server databases, or crystal reports a plus. Duties may also include entry level helpdesk support for internal employees.
Shipper/Packer
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy, and prepare items for shipment. Duties include but are not limited to assembling, addressing, packing, sealing, labeling, affixing postage, and shipping merchandise or material; effectively communicating with all levels of company personnel to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications; delivering materials to departments and customer sites. Ideal candidate will have previous experience in shipping, packaging, inspecting, crate building, stenciling, and driving delivery trucks; be familiar with international shipping procedures and comfortable using DHL, UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager software. Must have a clean driving record and be able to repetitively lift at least 40 pounds. Position requires flexibility to work varied/extended hours based on current business needs.
Technical Writer/Software Trainer
Qualtrax, Inc. (subsidiary of CCS-Inc.) is looking for a Technical Writer/Software Trainer for its compliance management software product. This position will require strong technical writing skills and the ability to conduct training classes for new employees and customers. The ability to coordinate and conduct online training sessions by use of GoToMeeting is a plus. This position will interact with IT professionals, software developers, and regulatory professionals. The candidate must be able to translate very technical information into a training room environment with students of varying levels of expertise. The position will design and develop user manuals, training programs, and assist with customer implementations. Frequent domestic and international travel required. Two years experience in technical writing and/or training strongly preferred.
